St. Machar ASG's Reading Bus was one year old yesterday and the event was celebrated with a huge party at the AECC. Over 400 pupils attended and took part in "bus stop" workshops showcasing the exciting activities which have been going on aboard the bus for the last year.The 12 workshops were all delivered by pupils and included broadcasting, animation, storytelling, non-fiction writing, Read Together and Doric. David Barry, writer in residence on the bus, and local author Sheena Blackhall also lent a hand.
